Versatile Blogger Award

Angela at Library Girl Reads was kind enough to honor me with my first award here at One Book Shy!  I was so excited  to find out that she thought of me when choosing her recipients.  Thank you very much Angela, I appreciate it.


The simple rules are:

Seven things about me:
  1.  I'm an experienced horsewoman.
  2.  I refuse to watch horror flicks, even with the hubby.
  3.  My favorite color is PURPLE.
  4.  I won a destruction derby when I was 18.
  5.  Chocolate milk is my drink of choice.
  6.  One of my first jobs was as a Leaf Polisher.

    Thank you all for coming by! YAY us!

    As for the Leaf Polishing position - it was a real job! I was 17 and it was for a floral shop. The boss was a horrible, very unhappy woman whose husband hired me as a sales assistant. SHE didn't like me and decided I'd only be useful out in the greenhouse POLISHING LEAVES on plants. I lasted a month..:)
